Our Story
La Vigna is a family-owned vineyard, nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley.
Micah and Denny are the passionate owners and caretakers of La Vigna Estate. Based on the Central Coast with a hard-working background in hospitality and restaurants, the duo had longed to bring to life a slice of their favourite place in the world (and Micah’s heritage) – Italy – by growing their own grapes. And so around a decade ago, they purchased the land and set to work.
Together, they’ve developed La Vigna into a haven for groups of family and friends (sleeping 38), with Micah even building two of the four houses, along with the sandstone chapel that is the beating heart of the property (sourcing the right stone and wood took them five years).
The idea was always to share this special place with other like-minded and loved-up people – people who want to wed with less stress, more meaning.
When you wed at La Vigna, you and your guests are welcomed like family, and invited to make the vineyard your home-away-from-home.
